When I am not at work, or involved in some project at home, with my wonderful family, I spend my days out and about as I have for the last several years, “chasing butterflies” as a good friend is fond of reminding me.  Along the way I have been fortunate to capture photographs of many species of butterflies.  However, that is not my only quarry, as I have labored to capture anything and everything of significant beauty in the natural world, including birds, another favorite of mine, flowers, sunsets, and unusual scenery.  Most of the photographs in my galleries are captured in the beautiful state of West Virginia, my home.  However, occasionally I will venture out of the state, and even rarer, out of the country, which will lead me to subjects I simply cannot see in WV.  Those too are shared here. 

In addition to my photography, I have also elected to share with any and all who are interested, some of my artwork which includes digital images, some of which begin as photographs, others as drawings or “paintings” in Corel Painter, and then “attacked” with various software to extract something unusual and intriguing from those images to reveal what you will see here.  The other artwork I have included is a sampling of my work with polymer clay.  I have become rather obsessed with the stuff as it is ideal for the king of procrastination, because it never dries until I bake it!!!  You will find faces, busts, figurines, and then some other odds and ends, all created with that magical clay.  I hope you enjoy!
